Oekraïens pianotalent zoekt studiefinanciering

Het ligt niet in haar Oekraïense aard om hulp te vragen. Toch zoekt deze veelbelovende 17-jarige pianiste jouw financiële steun voor haar muzikale opleiding. Tot januari 2022 trad Anna Nebaba op in de grote zalen van de Oekraïne, Zweden, Frankrijk, Georgië en Tsjechië.

Gevlucht uit Donetsk

Anna is in opleiding tot klassiek pianiste als op 24 februari 2022 de oorlog in Oekraïne uitbreekt. Ze vlucht met haar moeder en zus naar Nederland, met wat kleren, haar hondje en bladmuziek. Eenmaal in Nederland geeft zij vele Oekraïne benefietconcerten voor Giro555. Anna wordt door haar landgenoten gezien als de trots van haar land in deze moeilijke tijd.

Waar is geld voor nodig

Nu is het haar beurt om jouw steun te vragen. In september 2022 start zij aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en de Davidsbündler Academie in Den Haag voor toptalent. De Nederlandse overheid voorziet in slechts € 78 leefgeld per week voor minderjarige vluchtelingen. Er is nog geen vooruitzicht op studiefinanciering. Ze is niet in staat om zelfstandig in haar levensonderhoud te voorzien. Met je bijdrage kunnen we Anna ook in het tweede studiejaar op weg helpen.

Anna's persoonlijke verhaal

Anna: In 2014, at the age of 9, I was forced to leave my hometown with my family for Kyiv due to the outbreak of hostilities in the east of Ukraine. From 2014-2022 I lived in Kiev and studied at the Kiev State Music Lyceum named after Lysenko. I took an active part in competitions and led an active concert life. Due to the invasion of Russian troops, I was forced to flee again and went to the Netherlands. I was able to continue my music lessons with master pianist Boris Fedorov who also fled from Kiev.

From September 2022 I will be studying with Naum Grubert at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I will also be studying at The Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague that offers an intensive and innovative method of high level classical music education to dedicated young & talented pianists and string players.

Support the education of Anna, Ukraïan pianotalent in the Netherlands

It is not in her Ukrainian nature to ask for help. Nevertheless, this promising 17-year-old pianist is looking for your financial support for her musical education.

Anna flew from Donetsk

Until January 2022, Anna Nebaba (2005) performed in the large halls of the Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden, France and the Czech Republic. Anna was studying to become a classical pianist when the war broke out in Ukraine. She fled with her mother and sister to the Netherlands, with some clothes, her dog and her sheet music. In the Netherlands she is giving concerts for the Dutch national fundingraising campagne for the Ukraine. Anna is seen as the pride of her country in these difficult times.

Why she needs support

Now it is her turn to ask for your support. In September 2022 she will be starting at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Davidsbündler Academy in The Hague for top talent. The Dutch government provides only a € 78 living allowance per week for underaged refugees. There is no prospect of student scholarships yet. She is unable to support herself. Your gift will also help to support Anna in the second year of her education.
